I'm Marianne, a Core Founder with Lokelani Designs! When the party plan company I was with closed in early 2002, I began searching for a new opportunity. I joined many companies, but it wasn't until late 2007 that I found the company I was looking for. During an internet search for fund raising ideas for the annual Alzheimer's Walk, I found Lokelani Designs.
Lokelani Designs' owners, Julie & Kathy Rose were doing home shows in the local Washington DC area. They had commissioned "Make Piece/Peace", a local non-profit company in the Washington DC who teach under-privileged women the art of jewelry design & how to sell their creations, to create jewelry set for their summer 2007 line.
I attended Lokelani Designs business launch on September 23, 2007, fell in love with the jewelry & became one of their original Core Founders.
After 2 years as a Lokelani Stylist, I'm still excited about Lokelani - our jewelry, our company's mission & all the wonderful people in our Lokelani family.

Loraine Myers

Julie, Loraine & Kathy
Hello! I'm Loraine, a Founding Stylist with Lokelani Designs! During the fall of 2008, I started searching the internet for a fun home based business that I could really sink my teeth into. I wanted to make sure that whatever it was I was going to devote my time & dedication to would be something that I would truly believe in. After checking into several jewelry companies, I was still undecided but did not pursue it further. Then one day in April, I found exactly what I'd been looking for through an email I'd received from my now mentor, Marianne, a Core Founder with Lokelani Designs, who I had contacted during my search, but somehow missed. I decided to take a look at the Lokelani Website & see for myself what it was all about.
Once I viewed the fabulous catalog on line, I was completely sold. Not only did the jewelry look stunning, but the layout of the catalog was so intriguing that I emailed Marianne immediately and expressed my interest further. Within ten minutes of sending the email to her, I received a phone call from her! Amazing! So, sufficed to say, I got in on the ground floor as a the first stylist to represent the state of Pennsylvania!
I have now been a Stylist for Lokelani going on my second year in April of 2010, and look forward to continuing my exciting adventure with Lokelani Designs! There is always something new coming up just around the bend!
